Bridge is built for people who are safe with each other and struggling to communicate — partners, family, friends. If you are afraid of the person you would be pairing with, if you have been hurt or threatened, or if you feel you cannot speak freely without consequence — Bridge is not the right tool, and using it could make things harder for you. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 at 1-800-799-7233.

Bridge is a communication skills platform. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or crisis intervention. Users experiencing domestic violence or mental health emergencies are directed to appropriate professional resources.

Bridge for Loved Ones — Support

Effective 30 September 2026

Bridge for Loved Ones is a communication tool for people who love each other — a partner, a parent, a sibling, a friend. It is not therapy and it does not provide professional advice.

If you need a person, write to us at the address at the bottom of this page.

Is Bridge right for us?

Bridge is built for people who are safe with each other and struggling to communicate — partners, family, friends.

If you are afraid of the person you would be pairing with, if you have been hurt or threatened, or if you feel you cannot speak freely without consequence — Bridge is not the right tool, and using it could make things harder for you.

Common questions

  • Can the other person see what I wrote? No. They receive only the message you approved and sent in your own name.
  • Can I change what Bridge wrote for me? Yes. You read it before it is sent and can rewrite it entirely.
  • Do they know if I do not answer? No. There is no read receipt, no activity indicator, and no way to nudge.
  • What if I do not want my words sent to an AI service? Then Bridge will not work for you, and that is a reasonable thing to decide. The setup screen explains this before you write anything.
  • Can I pair with more than one person? Yes. Each pairing is its own private channel — a parent, a sibling, a friend, a partner — and nothing crosses between them.
  • How do I stop receiving from someone? Settings, then End the pairing next to their name. It takes effect immediately and they are not notified.
  • How do I delete everything? Settings, then Delete my account.

Subscription

One subscription covers every pairing you are in, and a pairing is covered if either person in it subscribes. It renews monthly until cancelled, and you cancel it in your Apple ID settings rather than in Bridge.

Crisis resources, exercises you do on your own, and everything already written stay available whether or not you subscribe.
